Celestial Spiral of the Glade – Commission Painted Warsong Revenant
3 June 2026This Warhammer 40,000 commission painting project features a large mob of custom painted Ork Boyz, forming the aggressive core of the army. The miniatures are equipped with classic Ork weapons including slugga pistols, choppas, axes, and heavy melee blades, each posed in dynamic attack stances.
The Boyz are painted using a bold red armor scheme combined with deep green Ork skin tones and dark brown clothing. Red helmets, shoulder plates, and armor panels create strong visual consistency across the unit, while small yellow accents introduce contrast.
Metallic weapons and mechanical parts are finished with worn steel tones, reinforcing the rough and improvised style typical of Ork technology in Warhammer 40K.
Custom Painted Ork Meganobz – Elite Heavy Infantry
Supporting the infantry are heavily armored custom painted Ork Meganobz, one of the most imposing elite units in an Ork army. These miniatures wear massive mechanical armor and carry oversized power klaws, saw blades, and heavy weapons.
The Meganob armor is painted in strong red plates with yellow jaw-shaped face armor and dark mechanical components. Large banners and trophy poles decorated with skulls rise above the models, giving the painted Ork Meganobz an intimidating battlefield presence.
Their size, heavy weapons, and detailed armor make them a visual centerpiece within the army.

Custom Painted Squighog Boyz – Fast Assault Unit

A highly dynamic element of the force is the unit of custom painted Squighog Boyz. These Ork riders charge into battle mounted on massive Squigs, armed with long spears and brutal melee weapons.
The Squigs are painted in saturated red skin tones that match the army’s dominant armor color. Their large jaws, exposed teeth, and muscular bodies add strong visual character and movement to the unit.
The riders follow the same red armor, green skin, and yellow accent scheme used across the army, creating a cohesive look between infantry, elites, and mounted units.
Cohesive Custom Ork Army Paint Scheme
Across all units, the custom Ork paint scheme focuses on strong color contrast and clear visual identity. Red armor plates dominate the models, supported by natural green skin tones, dark metallic weapons, and yellow accent panels.
This combination creates a bold tabletop presence while keeping the army visually unified. Even though the force includes multiple different units, the consistent colors tie the entire collection together.

Desert Battlefield Basing
All miniatures are finished with sandy desert-style bases made from textured ground and small stones. The warm tones of the base contrast well with the red armor and help the painted Ork miniatures stand out clearly during gameplay.
The basing approach keeps the focus on the models themselves while still grounding the army in a believable battlefield environment.
