Offensive Miniatures US Paras Squad 1: Level 2 Painting
14 May 2026This painted Baharroth, Phoenix Lord of the Swooping Hawks, was completed as a high-end commission painting project for a Warhammer 40,000 Aeldari army. The objective was to preserve the speed and elegance of the sculpt while delivering a crisp, display-level finish suitable for competitive play and photography.
The model is mounted in mid-flight, supported by a shattered wraithbone ruin, creating a strong vertical composition. Every element of the paintwork was designed to reinforce motion, lightness, and precision.
Custom Paint Scheme Baharroth – Blue Gradient Wings and Dark Armor
The custom paint scheme centers on a cool blue gradient across the wings, transitioning from deeper turquoise tones near the body to pale, almost white highlights at the feather tips. Each feather is individually defined to preserve sharp separation and enhance the sense of lift and airflow. The smooth blends give the painted Baharroth a clean, aerodynamic appearance consistent with Aeldari design.
The armor is finished in deep black and charcoal tones, highlighted with restrained grey edge accents to maintain definition without overpowering the wings. Gold elements across the chest and helm are carefully shaded to create richness without excessive shine. Purple gemstones are precisely layered with bright focal highlights, adding controlled points of contrast across the torso and weapon.
The curved blade features a vivid magenta finish with subtle tonal variation toward the edge, creating a striking contrast against the cooler blues of the wings. The weapon casing and mechanical details are treated with neutral metallics and controlled shading to preserve balance within the overall composition.
Painted Warhammer 40,000 Aeldari Miniature – Movement and Precision
Flowing blue ribbons and the upward sweep of the wings reinforce the impression of forward momentum. The pose, combined with crisp edge highlights and smooth color transitions, ensures that this painted Warhammer model reads clearly from multiple angles.
Particular care was taken to maintain clean panel transitions and sharp detailing across the helmet crest and chest iconography, preserving the refined aesthetic expected from an Aeldari Phoenix Lord.
Scenic Base for Painted Baharroth – Ruined Wraithbone and Volcanic Ground
The base features broken wraithbone architecture rising from dark volcanic terrain. Subtle orange tones within the ground provide warm contrast beneath the otherwise cool palette of the model. The stone elements are painted in muted grey with gentle weathering to avoid drawing attention away from the figure.
A clean black base rim frames the scene and ensures the painted Baharroth integrates seamlessly into an Aeldari collection or display cabinet.

Commission Painting Baharroth – Professional Miniature Painting Studio
This commission painting Baharroth project highlights our approach to character-level Warhammer 40,000 miniatures: smooth gradients, precise edge work, controlled metallic finishes, and cohesive basing that enhances rather than competes with the model.
