This project features a full Warriors of Chaos army painted for Warhammer: The Old World, completed as a professional commission painting project. The army combines heavily armored infantry, brutal chariots, and elite Chaos cavalry, unified under a dark crimson and brass color scheme.
The models were painted with a focus on strong tabletop presence while maintaining clean detailing and consistent army cohesion. The rich red armor contrasted with warm gold trim gives the force a powerful visual identity typical of Chaos warbands marching to war across the Old World.
Chaos Warriors – Painted Infantry Regiment
The core of the army is a large regiment of Chaos Warriors, equipped with heavy armor, horned helmets, and large shields bearing Chaos iconography.
The armor plates are painted in deep crimson tones with carefully placed highlights that bring out the sculpted edges and battle-worn details. Gold trim and iconography contrast strongly against the darker armor, helping the shields and armor plates stand out across the entire unit.
Fur cloaks and trophy details such as skulls and bones were painted in natural tones to add visual variety while still fitting within the dark Chaos aesthetic. The result is a cohesive infantry block that looks imposing both on display and on the battlefield.
Chaos Chariots – Custom Painted War Machines
Two Chaos Chariots form a brutal support element for the army. Each chariot features heavy red armor plating, gold spikes, and detailed decorations that match the rest of the force.
The mutated horned beasts pulling the chariots were painted in rich brown tones with bone-colored horns, creating a natural contrast against the red armor plating of the vehicles.
Decorative elements such as skull poles, banners, and chains were carefully highlighted to add depth and realism, giving each chariot a sense of weight and brutality appropriate for a Warriors of Chaos army.
Chaos Knights – Elite Chaos Cavalry
The army also includes a unit of Chaos Knights, heavily armored cavalry that serve as elite shock troops.
The knights wear the same crimson armor as the infantry, reinforced with gold trim and chaos symbols to maintain a unified army appearance. Their armored warhorses are painted in darker natural tones with detailed barding, chains, and decorative elements.
Weapons such as lances, halberds, and axes were painted in dark steel metallics with subtle highlights, giving them a realistic battlefield finish.
Together, the knights create a powerful visual centerpiece for the army.
