Yncarne – Manifestation of the Final Breath
12 May 2026This Light of Eltharion commission was approached as more than a character model - it was treated as a spectral icon of the Lumineth Realm-lords. The intention was to emphasize his supernatural presence, capturing the sense that this is not merely a warrior in armor, but a spirit bound within radiant steel.
The entire composition was designed to feel elevated and heroic, ensuring the miniature commands attention instantly on the tabletop.
Light Within the Armor
The blue armor was painted to suggest internal illumination rather than simple surface color. Deep, cool shadows were placed carefully into recesses, while upper plates were pushed toward bright, almost glowing highlights. The contrast gives the illusion that energy is radiating outward from within the suit.
Edges were refined with sharp highlights to maintain clarity and definition, allowing the sculpted details to remain crisp even at gaming distance.

Gold That Frames the Radiance
The ornate gold trim serves as a structural frame for the glowing blues. Instead of heavy weathering, the metallics were kept clean and regal, reinforcing Eltharion’s noble origin. Subtle shading was used to add depth without dulling the brilliance of the finish.
This balance between cool armor and warm metallics creates a visually striking harmony across the miniature.
Blades Charged with Arcane Power
The twin swords were treated as extensions of Eltharion’s spirit. Gradients flow along the blades to simulate arcane energy, with brightness intensifying toward the edges. The effect is controlled and deliberate, avoiding excess glow while still conveying magical force.
These luminous weapons act as secondary focal points, guiding the viewer’s eye through the model.
Cloak of the Heavens
The flowing cloak introduces atmosphere and narrative. Smooth blends shift from rich blue into deeper tones, suggesting a celestial void trailing behind the warrior. The softer transitions here contrast with the sharper armor highlights, adding movement and visual depth。
This interplay of textures - hard armor and fluid fabric - enhances the dynamic silhouette of the miniature.
A Hero Ready for Battle or Display
Mounted on a scenic base of fractured stone and environmental detail, the model feels grounded despite its ethereal theme. The final protective finish ensures durability for Age of Sigmar gameplay while preserving display-level refinement.
This Light of Eltharion commission reflects a focus on controlled luminosity, balanced contrast, and disciplined brushwork - bringing one of Age of Sigmar’s most iconic heroes to life with presence and precision.
